Safety Policy

In recognition of the nature of her activities, XPO Marine Services considers safety an integral part of its daily activities; it is therefore the policy of XPO Marine Services to conduct its operations efficiently in a socially responsible and ethical manner, always giving first and utmost attention to safety of persons and property that may be affected by the operations.

It is our objective to ensure strict compliance to all relevant safety codes and regulations during our activities. To achieve this, we have adopted the following policy standards:

Provision of standard safety manuals and codes
Strict enforcement of industry, national and international safety rules, and regulations relevant to our activities.
Make safety guidelines available to all staff.Regularly update our staff on safety rules and regulations.
Ensure that staff adhere to safety rules and regulations of host terminals, installations, and vessels.
Have regularreview of our safety needs and requirements.
Our safety guide,rules and regulations coverland and sea where our activities take place from time to time.
Discourage allforms of unsafe acts andemphasize the needto report all unsafe acts to the management for appropriate actions.

The HSE-MS manual ensures that policies, objectives, organizational structure, responsibilities, standards, processes, procedures, controls and resources, are defined and aligned to manage XPO’s HSE risks and impacts according to defined standards. In addition, it also ensures that processes and procedures are in place to identify, assess and control HSE risks to agreed performance standards, while we proactively sustain our “Goal Zero” incidence records.

Health

XPOinvests in the health and wellness ofits employees to improve productivity and help employees optimize their physical health and mental well-being. Our engagements implement Fitness for Duty process which confirms or identifies the circumstances under which employees can safely perform essential physical, psychological and cognitive

Environment

XPO is committed to operating in a safe and environmentally responsible manner and never compromises on measures to protect the environment which are based on an awareness of the value of the complexity of the natural world.

Security

We duly evaluate our operational environments to ascertain the level of security awareness needed to operate safely and mitigate possible security issues, and as such will ensure that all employees and company assets are provided sufficient security protection.
